So I am wanting to change my cassette listening center into a cd listening center. Can't afford to purchase a whole bunch of books on CD. Was wondering of you know of any sites you can download books being read that I could burn on to CDs. Any ideas?

Have you tried your local library? I know that ours has digital books that you can download in MP3 format.

Itunes. They're not free, but reasonable. Then you could get the text from the library.
Also try ebay you can get a book lot for surprisingly low cost.

On Robert Munsch's website you can download most of his books for free. He has posted recordings of himself reading the books. This is how I started my listening centre.
