Does this look like a "going out" outfit?

So, I'm trying to put together something for the girls' weekend that's coming up in a few weeks. What would this look like? The shirt and shoes aren't exact, but they're along the lines I'm thinking. Keep in mind, I'm a t-shirt and jeans person, so I don't want to go too far out there, lol. I don't go out much, like at all, almost never.

    Thanks!

It definitely depends on where you're going/how casual it is where you live. I think it's cute but a bit more daytime. The wedge is super cute and probably comfy but I think cork = casual. Longer, darker jeans without the fading would make it a little dressier as well. I think any of the one elements would work if you could dress up the other two. For example, you could keep the jeans but dress up the top and shoes. Keep the shoes but dress up the top and jeans, etc. Sounds like a good time! :)

I agree-- to me it looks like Sunday brunch.

    Have fun.

I like the top, maybe with black capris and heels, or even cute shiny flats?

    Where are you going?

If you're going to a club, around here you'd need a tighter shirt and a mini-skirt, not jeans. :)

I like the top. It is a fun, casual day look though, but I guess if you don't want to be more dramatic, you could really dress it up with jewelry & more makeup.

My sister and I will be going to a concert and out after it. Thanks for the suggestions! Keep them coming, as I have absolutely no idea about this, lol. I have to be careful about what I wear. A little on the chubby side and really self concious about it, especially since my sister is tall, skinny, pretty, and really put together. I've asked for her opinion, and she always suggests things SHE would look good in, not me!

    Thanks again!

I would wear the top with dark jeans and nicer shoes out. Around here that would be plenty "dressy" enough to go out- maybe it depends on the area. If I wear a dress I often feel over dressed compared to everyone else unless it's a really casual sundress.

I think the shirt is super cute! Wear it with either a very dark wash jean or black pants (both dressier than "blue" jeans). I also think your shoes should be a POP color. I'm all about "going" and not "matching". Like on what not to wear;) Maybe a gold shoe would bring out the stones on the shirt! And remember- gold is a neutral, you can wear it with anything! Have funnn!!!

    Cute, but causal.

I'd pair the shirt with black dress crops and a metallic sandal or sandal with a heel.

    Like these pants.

Maybe shoes like these if you prefer a flat sandal.

I'm a heel girl, so I'm wear something like this.

I think cork is more for daytime, but I really love these shoes. I've been stalking them waiting for them to go on sale.

I tried that shirt on at Maurices, but I ended up getting a different one.

Thanks!!!! I think I'll go with the jeans. I have a pair of Suki Silvers and they fit well, at least they did pre-baby and 30 pounds ago!!! Lol. Anyway, I'm thinking about a pair of those but two sizes bigger. I'm also thinking about stepping way out of the comfort zone and doing some heels with an open toe. I want to show off my cute pedicure!

    Thanks so much everybody!!!!!

The top is so adorable and totally appropriate for going out!

I agree with the suggestions to pair it with a dark wash jean or a pair of black pants. You might be able to get away with the cork wedges with a long pant. But to me, crops and cork together read daytime.

Wow, I feel even more...casual...than usual. That's totally fancier than anything I ever wear.

I always hear about what cute stuff they have, then I go to one, and I can't find anything that works for me! I'll try again this summer.
