    Hi everyone,

I'm thinking about moving to Arizona in the future and I am wondering if anyone knows if Arizona accepts a California credential? I have some course work to finish before I have my multi subject/special ed credential.

    Thanks for your help,

I'm pretty sure they do but you'll have to take an Arizona history class. They are pretty easy and you can do it over the weekend.

Don't a lot of states take you for a year and you have until then to get that state's testing done?

Not necessarily. I guess that would depend on how badly they need teachers. I know that in my area there is an over abundance of licensed teachers to choose from so I don't think they'd hire someone certified in another state until they were licensed here as well.
