Does anyone know of any good read-aloud books about Ellis Island (3rd grade)?

One of the books in Scholastic's My America series was based on Ellis Island, "Hope in my Heart". The story is told from the POV of a 9-year-old child mistakenly separated from her family. It's ~100 pages though, I don't know if you have that kind of time allotted. It does have sequels though, which is a plus to encourage independent reading.

I personally love The Memory Coat. Used it for a grad school project.
