I am a new teacher this year, teaching 1st grade in NYC (DOE). For ELA, they use Ready Gen. I have been looking over the first unit and it seems pretty heavy for 1st grade. Does anyone have experience using Ready Gen? What is the pacing for each lesson? Each lesson is composed of various tasks/activities that it seems a lot for one day.
