Do you wake up with your partner on your days off?

So school year is officially over! WOOO! That means I don't have to get up early anymore! But obviously my boyfriend still goes to work every morning. I hate getting up so early (5:30am) but at the same time I feel bad not getting up. Especially since I then have all day to take a nap if I need to. So I usually get up with him, unless I'm feeling especially lazy, and I make him breakfast and such.

Do you guys wake up early with your partners? Or do you sleep in?

Haha that would be a big NO. Typically my husband works in the afternoon/evening, so I'll still get up before he does (I cannot sleep past 8 at the absolute latest). But if he does work a morning shift, I'll kiss him goodbye and drift back to sleep!

My husband is also a teacher, so we have the same breaks, and he sleeps way later than I do.

Of course I wake up with my partner. If I woke up with anyone else, I'd be in a heap of trouble.

To answer the question, no, I do not get up when he gets up. I normally sleep much later than he does anyway.

Luckily, mine is a grad student so all of his seminars are at night. He does have one 8 AM on the same day I have a 9:30, so I get up with him anyway.

He works graveyards, so no, I don't wake up with him. He is off on Fridays and Saturdays, however, but we usually keep our own sleep schedules. There are times when I'll take a nap for a bit when he goes to sleep, and sometimes he lays down for a bit when I go to sleep.

The kids and I leave the house at 6:30 AM M-F, which means I'm up at 5:30. My husband gets up at 7 AM when he needs to get up. During weekends and when school isn't in session, I get up after he does. Our family doesn't eat big breakfasts, so no one has to cook for anyone. It has worked for us for 12 years.

My hubby has to leave at 6am so I will usually not get up with him if I am off from school. I make his lunch for him the night before and he has a breakfast shake in the morning so there's nothing he really needs from me. He certainly does not get up early if he is off! Actually, he is off today and he sent me a text that he didn't get up until 10am!

My ex-husband only worked Friday nights, Saturday nights, and Sunday mornings. He got up between 7-8 every morning, no matter what. I get up between 6:00-6:30, and he stayed in bed. I always slept in when I wasn't working. He got up whenever he wanted.

My BF & I don't technically live together, but the times he's spent the night, we wake up pretty much together. He may sleep in a little longer sometimes on days I have to wake up 30 min earlier. There hasn't been the chance yet for it to be vice versa where I have the choice to waqke up w/ him or not.

Unless I am dog-tired, I almost always hear him getting up, but am in that half-awake, half-asleep state, so it doesn't really bother me. I love when he pulls back the covers and kisses me gently on the forehead or my lips, then tucks them back around my chin. It's very sweet. If I'm not tired and wake up a little before his alarm, I'll snuggle into him and we might talk and cuddle a little before he peels himself out of bed. With the exception of days when he goes in late or for a half day (which means he leaves around 9 or 10) I never get up with him and have breakfast, coffee or shower.

We both get up at the same time regardless of who is working because we have two dogs with bladders synchronized to early, early, early!

My husband is on night shift now-from 6pm to 6am. I definitely don't get up the same time as him! I can't wait until he goes back to days. But even when he's on days we still get up at different times.

She's a teacher too, so we're generally on the same schedule... though she wakes up early on weekends, and I enjoy having that extra time to sprawl out across the whole bed and keep sleeping :)

Mine only has Wednesdays and Thursdays off.

He wakes up at 2:30 a.m. on the days he works. He says goodbye when he leaves, but I normally don't remember. I'm a very heavy sleeper.

If I'm off, I'll get up when I'm ready to. I have insomnia and some nights are worse than others. So, there are days when I can get up early, and other days where I'm still in bed 10 am.

I don't feel too guilty about sleeping in on my days off. That's one of the perks to being a teacher, right? :D

I wake up when she does (7am), but usually fall back asleep within 30 minutes of her leaving(7:45), but I make a habit of not sleeping past 8:45 or it destroys my sleep pattern when school starts back up agagin.

    NOT. A. CHANCE. IN. HELL!!!!!

He gets up and leaves 2 hours before I have to - at 4:30 a.m. If I wake up and can't get back to sleep, it leads to a very long, hard day. I need my sleep!!!!
