Do you have to take your classroom down at the end of the year?

My classroom used to be used for summer school every stinking year. As a result, we had to take everything apart, take it down, and put it all away so summer staff could do with the room what they wanted.

This year for the first time since the school was founded, my space is NOT going to be used. I'm elated!! :) I'm not sure how to organize everything now that I don't HAVE to put it all away.

How do you close up your space at the end of the year?

I went through the same thing for years. I had to put all the materials away that I didn't want lost or broken. I had to work twice as hard the week before school started just to clean up after summer school. This year, I don't know if my room will be used or not. Most likely, I will put most of the works away. I need to re-make a few due to wear and tear.
