Do you have bizarre teaching nightmares?

Yes! I have been in school for 4 weeks, but I had one last night and it got to me. I teach Kinder, and apparently a parent had a concern that I did not greet them to their liking everyday. Which is weird, since I greet everybody that I see but anyway. I had a dream that this same parent complained again that I don't do anything fun all day, and I was told I need to start having fun in the afternoons. It wasn't that bad, but I hate the thought of parent complaints, especially when you know they are absurd!

 

Mine are the same. I can't control the class.

 

ALWAYS!! Dreams of a class in chaos, disrespectful kids haunt me before I go back! lol

 

I just had my first one last night!

My nightmare: I had a class of only my most challenging 7th graders (in my new 5th grade class?). I was walking them to lunch, and they started swarming the hall like bees around a hive. And of course, there was an administrator, just standing there and shaking his head.

 

I have them every summer. It's usually disrespectful students, my own lack of clothes, or my room has some thing weird going on (like a missing wall, 20 boxes of crap all over the desks, or no white board).

Last year I had 2 little persons in my class. My dream sounds awful, but in my dream they were about as tall as a bunny. I kept losing them in the room somewhere and I almost stepped on one of them. It wasn't the first time I had little people, so I have no idea why I dreamt that.

 

I haven't had any for a while, but I used to get them at the beginning of the year every year! They always involved the principal being in the room and me not having control of the class! Scary!
