    Curious - I love looking at teachers' websites. I know there are very beloved ones (see the Awesome Teacher Websites thread). I was wondering if you have one, and if so, would you let us see it?

    If you have one, but don't want to share it, is it because of privacy? Or some other reason?

    Thanks!
    Shelly

    Thank you for posting this thread. I'm on a hunt for awesome upper grade sites for ideas. I'm moving from kinder to 5th and I LOVE stumbling upon great websites.

    Here's mine- I'll be adding a link when I get back to school on Monday to my new 5th grade site. It's coming out really good! :)

    Here's my site. We're switching to paid sites next year . . . we hope. Now we have to use a free site or pay ourselves. I've used my free site for along time.

    I worked hard on my website earlier in the year, but have gotten too busy with other things to do too much lately. Have a look. My kids at school and at home are really enjoying it!

    To be honest, I reaaly don't know how to share it. I set up a class homepage through Scholastic. It seems to get used a decent amount.

    Let me try mine again . . . I must not have had the shift all the way down because my underscores were hyphens.

    And Peachyness--I love the ABC idea for information. I use a FAQ format, but yours is so much cuter! (Our web pages are boring...no pics, nothing extra, so anything to spice it up will be good!)

    If anyone is interested, he/she is welcome to use my picture site. The html is already figured for each picture, and there are dozens of seasonal and educational pictures on there. Most are animated. You may also upload your own to this site and the html will be automatically configured. I've posted the information on here before, but that was a long time ago. I am happy to share. If you do upload any of your own pictures, please make sure their titles are all one word. For example, "marylamb" not "mary and lamb." Otherwise, help yourselves.

    On the left side of the page, you will find, among many other things, the words "upload images." That's the page you want. You can see the pictures by clicking on the name. Please add whatever you wish, but please do not delete any of mine. (You can add your own pictures at the bottom of the page.) Most were used on my old middle school websites, but there are some blog pictures on there, too.

    I'm trying to create a site. I have a question. How do you create a background for the website? I downloaded a background, but it was a small square. I think the picture just needs to be repeated throughout the page, but I don't get how you do that, and yet put all the other information on the page. Does that make sense?

    Use this code:
    <body background="NAME OF FILE">

    So, here's an example of one of my codes:
    <body background="background_star_sky.jpg">

    Put this code at the top of your page, right uner where it says </head>, or at least that's where I put mine. :)

    Thank you! :) Feel free to copy whatever you see. I think I got the graphics for the alphabet from Sno's Studio Graphics.
