Do you get curriculum maps or core works lists?

If so, when do you get them and how are they distributed? In Florida, we received them from our department head during pre-planning. Is that how it works everywhere?

We get ours during preservice week. We get a copy in the notebook, but they are also available on our school network, and now, through our online gradebook we can even access them from at home. That is really nice -- you don't have to lug that big notebook home.

We had to create our own currciulum maps. My grade level did it as a team. It took FOREVER, but I sure do know my standards for first grade now :)!

Our district web site has our map for math. Our state web site has the core curriculum listed. Once in awhile we get it in book form, every 5 years or so.
