This thread has become a scrambled mess.
Comin' out of your shell, aren't ya, TG? Don't get too hard-boiled on us, now......I've told you ovary and ovary!
or should that have been ova and ova???
Y'all just eggin' me on here..........
'Om,let' me just say, you're 'crackin' me up here.
think I can slip some remark about the Beatles' "White Albumen" into this eggy chat? Dunno......I might be too "chicken" to take things quite that far...it dozen seem to fit in quite right. Wouldn't wanna lay an egg......
Doc's playin' the dozens... this is what we get for coddling him.
Well, as long as he doesn't turn into an Eggs Benedict Arnold, I suppose we're all right.
There is no 'eggscuse' for all this nonsense.
Oh boy..........I leave for a few hours and THIS is what happens????
Now that you're all tanked up on wine and fine food(hopefully not eggs,) you can add your eggspert advice to these squares.
Tanked up is right...........I have nothing to add to this HIGHLY eggtelligent conversation!
Oh, let me correct myself............Grammy, you've NEVER looked better!!!!!!!! Love the avatar!
Oh...........nice..............I post and everyone leaves! THANKS!

Hey, I know the feeling. It's almost 6 am, I have only one child awake (and she's absorbed by the BPS website on the other computer) and who is here to chat with??
Aw, gee, kinder: a TeacherGroupie's gotta get some work in some time.
Let me check up on a few threads, Alice, and I'll be back.
Good morning TeacherGroupie!!
Kira is getting bored with the computer; it's just about time to become Mom. (And hit the laundry; my husband has to work and I'm pretty sure he's sockless!)
I'll check in later... have a good night!
Ah, yes, wife-and-motherhood...
TeacherGroupie, I am amazed at the hours you keep!!! Isn't it like 6 am in CA? And weren't you online 3 hours ago? Where do you fit sleep into your schedule?
I keep fairly unusual hours, it's true: just a natural-born night person, I suppose.
Wow, I am SO not that way, at least not any more. (Long gone are the days of 4 am "last call" followed by a trip to the diner and home at 6)
I am in awe! I would be a babbling psychopath at this hour! You, on the other hand, continue to dispense great advice and words of wisdom.
Okay, wake up, people.
For those of us on the East Coast with little kids, it already feels like mid afternoon. I've done 3 loads of wash, given my youngest a shower (AFTER she "washed" her own hair with a bar of soap) and gotten her dressed, fed my 2 youngest, found my husband's wallet (after he called from the diner asking if he had left it home) and made up 4 versions of a Precalc test on info I haven't taught yet.
Oh, and spent way too much time here-- the washer and dryer are down in the basement with the computer, so this is good incentive to hit the laundry!
"Great advice and words of wisdom"? Moi? More like "babbling with erudition"...
ALice you are to motivated. I just crawled out of bed and my hubby and son are still snoring away. I haven't done a thing yet except sit at this darn computer!
Well, it is 9:30 am in NY. And my youngest was up at 5. So it's not so much motivation as lack of alternatives.
Besides, I'm a definite morning person. If it's not done by 7 pm, it's not happening!!!
And I let all the laundry wait until the weekend unless I have absolutely no choice. So it's laundry today or no underwear for 5 people tomorrow
When you are done you can come to my house and do mine because I have tons of laundry to do and I have no desire to do it. It feels like a lazy day for me, but I really do have to get moving.
You say potato, I say potato...
Oh, no, it will never be DONE. (To those of you near NYC, it's like the construction on the Belt Parkway. By the time they finish the Brooklyn end, they go back and start again at the Nassau line:sorry: )
That is one thing I hate about laundry...it is never done!
Ok I have been up since 8:45. I have had two cups have tea and been trying to catch up on this site. I should probably get dressed, eat something and go to the bank.
Never mind when I've been up since...
Oh, TG, you must take some good vitamins. I have to lounge around on Friday nights, reading and playing computer games, to settle myself after the work week. Saturday mornings I do laundry while o the 'puter (here) because at least I feel like I'm getting something done. I usually do something with my mother on Saturdays and fit in cleaning around that.
When my children were young, I never thought I'd enjoy them being in their 20s so much. Their laundry piles up. But that's their problem. Mine gets done on the weekends just fine!!
Do they still live at home? (not that I can talk I lived at home until this past September). Just wondering.
Good morning everyone Just woke up.
Vitamins, 'daisy? Not even.
Did my son's tantrum wake you up?? For some reason, he adamantly did NOT want to go to religion this morning!!
HAHA......... I had a jewelry party at my house last night. Needless to say a lot of wine was tasted
And you didn't invite me? Wine is one of my favorite things! (And I don't mind a bit of nice jewlery either!)
Hey was it Silpada?
