Besides calling the school district, is there a way principals find out if a teacher is still under contract? Is there a database that they can log into to check? Say a teacher is technically under contract but not returning and school personal are fully aware of teacher not returning. This teacher then interviews at another school district. If they select this teacher, do they always call hr to ask if teacher is under contract still? If so, do they call before or after they offer the position?
