After my last post about manipulatives, I realized that the only company my director orders from is discount school supply.

What companys do you order from?

Are there any that are less expensive?

Or have more of a selection?

The owner of my center primarily uses Discount School Supply. If I find something in another catalogue that Discound doesn't carry she will order it most of the time..if it is within reason (not too expensive).

My director buys from Discount School Supply too. It doesn't matter much to me, since I make most of my own manipulatives anyway. She's a penny-pincher so we all find ourselves having to think creatively. I don't mind, though. I like the challenge.

Discount School Supply is the most economical most of the time. I do compare, but usually just order from DSS. I also stock up during the back to school sales in the local stores. I, like many of the posters, check Targets dollar bins at the front of the store.
