Discipline in the education system

    In general; being out, schools, stores, etc. ...not mine either.

    I am definitely pro-spanking if it is done appropriately and I have many clear parameters for a spanking.

    That said, I don't see how spanking could possibly work in a public school setting today. There are just too many frustrated and angry adults in charge of too many vulnerable children. There is a large percentage of physically abused children, and we don't know the half of it. Spanking a child who has been abused is totally inappropriate!

    I don't think it belongs in schools. We have to be more creative and set up workable discipline that teaches children to make their choices and experience their consequences, just like real life!

    Just an aside, I was spanked at home, even got one paddling at school!!! I am totally non-violent. So the spankings did not damage me at all. Yeah!
