Is the OP an actual teacher or someone who's just trying to get us riled up? Some of her stories just seem too far-fetched (or like others have said--maybe she's just not telling us the whole story).

After looking back at the OP's past posts, I'm feeling sad. The kids aren't getting what they deserve!

After looking at her posts, and on another website I do believe she's a real teacher. I have no idea how she is a 3rd or 4rth year teacher though.
And I have no idea why she would use a little girl's picture as her avatar, unless she's her daughter (which I doubt).

    Dear Milsey,
There have been some controversial things that you have written about on A to Z... It has led to many thinking that you are just trying to get us riled up. Is that true or are these really the thoughts of a person working with young people? I like giving people the benefit of the doubt. Please explain yourself... We want to help, if you can help us understand the person behind the posts.

Someone mentioned that Milsey is using the same name on another blog/forum type of website, and her posts are consistent with being a 'teacher'. I looked it up and saw it, but now for the life of me I can't find the original post that mentioned the web address.

The sad reality of our profession is that there are some who really shouldn't be teaching, but for whatever reason are allowed to have influence over young minds. While tenure does not guarantee a 'job for life', it takes a while for administrators to build a case against such 'teachers'. The new evaluation systems being adopted by many districts will not be so kind to those who do not exercise due diligence to this profession and the students they teach.:2cents:

Well if she is real, and if the opinions and comments she has posted here are truly how she thinks and feels, then it's no wonder she's been having as many problems as she has.
