The first episode was last night. I did enjoy it since I prefer supernatural/fantasy type of shows but...

I can imagine something like that would be very difficult to watch for someone who has experienced a particularly painful loss, especially anytime in the recent past.

What did you think? I so rarely get into a new TV show and I'm not sure if I'm comfortable watching this one yet.

I did. I like shows like that. Even though my grandmother just died last week, it didn't really bother me watching the show BUT if I had lost a spouse or a child, then I don't know. It might hit me hard.

I watched it and the whole time I was watching I was thinking about how I would react if my best friend that died while we were in high school or my grandfather who died when I was 8 years old came back and got to meet my husband, children, and granddaughter.

I have lost a child and I have no intention of ever watching that show. The looks on the parents' faces in the commercial upsets me. Not my idea of entertainment at all.

I agree. I've buried a child and a husband. I don't see myself ever watching this program.

I've now watched...had it on the DVR. It's OK. I'll keep watching to see if it grows on me. Didn't like the end how the hooded guy had passed & come back too. The boy was enough.

I was looking forward to this show, and it really bothered me. Truly made me uncomfortable. I think I would watch it at least one more time, but I'm not convinced. It's definitely either a love it or hate it show...no middle ground.

I think that they did that to illustrate that the boy was not going to be an isolated case. It seems it's going to be a bunch of them.

I don't watch it but for a different reason. I read the book "The Returned" which I think this was supposed to be based off of (if so, then there are a number of families that will be followed). But then I found out there was a French tv series that ran before that book even came out called "The Returned". I don't like when people take other people's ideas.
