Oh man, DEVLSON... (Dark Evil Vortex of Late September, October, and November) I'm a 3rd year teacher, but taught my first two years overseas in an international school. My first full year in an American school is tough, despite teaching in the same school districts when I was student teaching. I dunno... I'm feeling so burnt out. Some days, I wonder what the hell I'm doing and want to quit. Other days I love it. All of my coworkers tell me to make it through November, but I'm already ready to throw in the towel. I know I'm at that critical year, but yanno, some days I wonder about that grass is greener. I dunno if it's just me, but I'm just over it. Anyway, how do you personally get through this time of year? What're your DEVLSON rants?
