I've had it with constantly being placed under a microscope with the rest of my department. Our department is now required to provide monthly lesson plans where we have to do the exact same activities and lessons as one another. Due to our low CST scores, our department has so much more weight placed on us. I enjoy working with others, but I can't stand the fact that I need to teach a certain way, rather than the way I want to approach a lesson. We all have different teaching styles, but now our individuality is being taken away!
How is it working at a charter school? Are you looked at this closely? Please tell me things are better somewhere else. The way this year is going, this may be my last year.
