I am currently working on my B.A. in elementary education in Colorado. I have been weighing my options, and I have been wondering what the market is like in Philadelphia for elementary teachers prepared out-of-state. I'm under the impression that for someone with no experience who only has student teaching under their belt it might be difficult but I thought I would ask anyway. Thanks in advance, Mr. Chandler.

PA is home to more teacher colleges than almost any other state. It is very difficult to find work. However, Philly being an urban area may have unique needs that aren't being met by recent grads. Maybe some others will have more insights.
