    Thanks!
I've been using these with my after school tutoring kids.
We're supposed to be doing reading/writing/language arts, but I love finding ways to sneak in the math, because they really need that too!

    Jenn,
First of all, I LOVE your website! Sooo helpful :)
Question for you....with your daily editing for morning work how do you check their work? I would love to use this idea in my classroom but I have 27 kids and no aide....I am trying to think of the most effective way to check my students work.
    Thanks!

    amersk,
Glad you like my blog. I have 30 kids with no aide so I feel your pain! I give them about 10 minutes and then I call on random students to tell me what they fixed and I do it under my document camera. I encourage the students to add the corrections if they missed one. I then allow a couple students to come up and put their picture under the camera. I can tell by a quick walk around the room who is getting it or not. I see a big improvement in my class and it IS translating to their own writing!

I tried to view your materials, but they're embedded in Scribd, which requires that I enable scripting (and which is generally a very dubious service, where I find lots of copyright-infringing content).
