What does everyone do for D.E.A.R. day, if you celebrate it.
Since the kids aren't reading yet, do you just read them stories throughout the day?
    Any exciting ideas?

Read them stories. Let them read stories that the class has written. Have them act out stories or create stories as a class.

    Drop Everything And Read
It is an event for, in our school, 4th grade and lower. They generally bring blankets and pillows to school, they find a spot and spend time with books. I was looking for some fun ideas for my little guys.
