    Hi

I'm a new teacher with 3 preps, 6-8 grade social studies. I was wondering if anyone knew of a curriculum for sale that I could use. A fellow teacher told me about one he purchased for science, but I cannot find one for SS. I'm not sure curriculum is the correct choice of words, but what I'm looking for is a years worth of lesson plans complete with supplemental materials- power points/activities/handouts. I have been making everything myself and I'm never more than a week ahead and it's stressing me out! I'd love to have something ready made that I can alter to fit my school's requirements as needed instead of creating everything from scratch and researching website after website finding materials.

    Thank you !

Yes. Go to www.studiesweekly.com . It is a complete curriculum in newspaper format and you can use it stand-alone. I loved it and the kids did, too.

I used it for 3 or 4 years. I had a lot of supplementary materials in my room, but I could have done it without those things. The kids think they have to read less because of the format.
