This coming school year, I will be the general ed teacher in a CTT classroom for the first time. There will be 28 children with 8 children having IEPs. I am unsure how a CTT classroom looks or how it runs. If you have experience in CTT, can you fill me in? Thanks so much.

CTT = Co-Team Teaching. It's was called an Inclusion classroom where I student taught six years ago. I think I have also heard it called Integrated Team Teaching.

Basically, it's when you have two teachers, one gen ed and one spec ed, plus some paras in the classroom at the same time.

Ok...we have one or two inclusion classes per grade level in my school. It is so important for the teachers to start off by establishing good communication, discuss expectations, scheduling and planning together...this can be a powerful experience for all involved...
