I am and yes I am a wee bit stressed out. I took one course from University of Phoenix and then stopped and decided to take the test. Used a study guide I bought on-line that had lots of practice quizes and used the study guide questions to practice. The big stress comes from the end of the year, assessments and report cards being due and having been knocked down by some terrible stomach bug last week which left me unable to study or finish my assessments and do cards. I don't understand why they don't do this at the end of June.
It isn't the only test the company gives, by a long shot, and the challenge is to find places that it can be planted.
ell standards Everyone seems to be saying that i need to be very fluent in ell standards and strategies appropriate to their celdt scores/level (ie, early, early/int, intermediate, etc....).... but there doesn't seem to be anything online. Help? I know that I need to be able to apply knowledge of these standards. As a math teacher, where can I find suggestions for implementing ELD standards/strategies in my classroom based on language proficiency level????? It seems that there should be some matrix out there that shows various strategies based on the different levels? Test on Saturday....feel good about it (partly thanks to this thread)...but more help would be very helpful. Gotta run...bell just rang.
For matrices, try www.cde.ca.gov/ci/rl/im/elaeldmatrixlinks.asp. (It's for textbook publishers, but don't let that stop you.)
