the windows are great, but they sure don't give you a lot of storage options in the room. luckily, it looks like you are very organized. i have lots of storage and it's just a mess. hopefully i'll get organized this year! LC
Love it! What do you have on the front of your tubs? Your bookshelf behind your desk is great. Did you put wrapping paper around your desk? I do that to cheer it up if there's writing on it. Soooo nice! And I love your jungle board. Those cut-outs are totally cute. What are your plans with the rest of the room? What's in store for tomorrow?
ummmm the tubs are a science set and it comes like that, its basically just contents in the box and what chapter it goes with. so in the book when you do an experiment you just look for what chapter and pull out that tub. and the desk question, its a new desk so its just like that....but i did hot glue fabric around the bottom cause sometimes i will take off my shoes or hide a box under there and i put the same fabric around the side of the cubbie thing next to my desk that i use to create an l shape, tommorow i will n ot go but next week i will. i plan to go once a week untill the 11th, then ill go all week
and my theme is safari/ go green my slogan is "come join us were on a learning safari" and another one that will be posted next to an animal "its our world too, go green"
great bones of a room-I can't wait to see the rest. We use scott foresman for science too (I just went to a training today on doing better experiments with SF)
You've worked hard today! How much time do you think you'll spend in your room to get it ready? I needed about 2 1/2 weeks to move rooms.
well, its my second year in the room, my second year teaching and i usually can do it in 5 days, but im too exited and im going to go one a week and the full week of august 11-15. i usually end up .........staring/stairing sp?.......at it for like an hour or just sitting there making list and things
It looks like you have a good space to work with and you're coming along nicely. I really like that window!!! So much light. ~Paula~
yeah its nice, there is no concreat on that wall cause its all glass, and the schools theme is go green so on the supply list the kids are supposed to bring a plant for the outside classroom patio but im gonna buy some cause some might not bring and i want everyone to get a chance to plant one
We use those same tubs, the Scott Foresman kit. I hate having to find a place for those racks of tubs! Your room looks like it's coming along nicely.
csw, it is looking great! I would love to see other teacher's rooms too. We are projected to have HUGE growth this year, so our principal told us to pack everything and leave it in our current rooms. We have to wait until the beginning of the year to move... UGGGH! Our p doesn't seem to understand what a pain this will be. I just hope she gives us more time than usual to get everything ready.
i dnt understand the huge growth, is that like a new building and there moving everyone around or somethin
Very nice...can't wait to see the progress. Don't you just love this part of the school year!?! It's so exciting!
i love not having to worry about the boring suff like grades and lesson plans, the decorating is the fun park
