JeuneFille123, I'm sorry to point out that bon appetit posted back in 2011: not sure there's much help in that direction. Have you read the whole thread, though? Manon posted some content that you might find useful.
Hello, I just stumbled upon this thread! I am currently working on my French CSETs, I've passed the first two and still need to take the third subtest. I majored in French and studied abroad in France in an immersion program. Its been three years since I graduated college. I keep up with French through YouTube, movies, music, and reading. I can understand French well but I am nervous about producing my own written and verbal work. I am most nervous for this subtest since I am less confident in my ability to write and speak French. I am worried about making grammatical mistakes when speaking and writing. How strict is the grading for these aspects? I feel somewhat confident since I passed the first two exams on the first try, but the third subtest seems quite challenging. Thank you in advance for any advice!
Bienvenue à A to Z, saranews! Given your background in French, your best bet is to make as much of a point of speaking and writing in French as you are reading and listening to it. Try this: write a longish paragraph or a short essay every day in French, on a topic that's on your mind anyway. Look up the current terms for relevant concepts in French, but otherwise write grammatical prose off the top of your head. Then check your grammar - one of the tools at https://www.fluentu.com/blog/french/best-french-grammar-checker/ might help - and rewrite where necessary.
