I'm just wondering if anyone has come across the same problem. I was opening up my boxes of crayons and found that a lot of the wrappers were peeling off...particularly orange and purple. Has anyone noticed the same problem?
I noticed that too....Luckily I am using a classpack to hand out crayons this year but there were craylon wrappers peeling off in each of the 18 boxes that I bought. I just ended up putting those crayons into the community crayon bin.
Yes! My kinders keep showing me the crayons in their baskets that are peeling. They think it's funny that the paper is coming off.
I've noticed that this year!! It's the orange and purple! I had the same problem last year with just orange!
Hmm. Odd!!! Contact crayola and let them know. Who knows what they might do for you!! I complained to Pampers a while back about some diapers and they sent me 2 vouchers for FREE packs of diapers... Crayola might do something like that for you.... who knows!! It would be worth a try. They need to know that what crayon papers and glue are not getting along.
HAHA i opened a box the other day and almost all of my wrappers were falling off. I assumed it was possibly due to sitting in the heat over the summer??
I was planning on calling on Monday to complain. It also happened to me last year. It's weird how it's only a few colors. Hopefully they will send me some free stuff since I'm such a loyal customer. I am embarrassed to tell how many boxes of crayons I bought during the 20 cent sale at Walmart.
You couldn't have bought more crayons than I bought Elmer's glue sticks! I didn't even buy any this year because I still haven't run out from last year! Look forward to a lot of coupons...
