How do you develop your craft? Do you continue to study after you’ve gained some experience?

Always. I have extensive knowledge of mathematics, advanced and remedial, because of my never-ending study of any and all things mathematics and I don’t think we should never stop learning as a teacher. There is always something to learn and something that can be incorporated into our curricula.

I personally get great enjoyment from learning about mathematics and so I will oftentimes read through math forums online or spend hours reading about maths and proofs online. It’s never-ending fun! I LOVE doing proofs and learning new proofs. :D

Yes, you study, observe other top- notch teachers, find what works for you, and keep learning.

A teacher who doesn't continue to grow and learn soon falls by the wayside. That is why many/most states require proof of professional development throughout the career of every teacher.
