How often do you have to put together sub plans for your team member(s)? I believe in Karma, am a Christian and believe in the golden rule, but ENOUGH already. One of my grade level teammates has a lot of health issues and every few months she gets really sick and has to go to the hospital or stay home. She'll often be out for a week. This has happened five times this year and each time my team and I have to pull together sub plans for her. The first three times she had no plans, so we had to run copies and write up the schedule for the substitute. The fourth time, she just had a bunch of worksheets in a drawer, so we had to go through them, put in order and still write up a plan based on the sheets for the substitute and kids to follow. This time(5th time), she had one day's worth of sub plans that we used Friday. For Monday and Tuesday, she had NOTHING and she also has nothing for tomorrow, so we scrambled to find stuff to put out. This is the fifth time and half of our team is fed up and have flat out refused to help. They're like, "she has a husband. why can't she put the plans together and have him bring it to school" and "she knows she's got health issues, why doesn't she plan ahead?" I feel the same way and so does the other half of the team, but we're all chronic "nice girls" plus the other team member has health issues, so I guess she can relate a little. Plus I always am imagining if it was me. I was sick last December and ended up being out two days before the Christmas break. I only had one days worth of sub plans, so my team put together the last day for me. However, Mrs. "5 time offender" did not put the plans together that time i was absent. What do you guys think? Should I just let her hang out to dry? EDIT: She is having a hard time at work because the P and the VP don't seem to like her, so they're really hard on her. Sometimes she deserves it, but EVERYBODY makes mistakes and isn't doing everything 100% perfectly, so I know it's a lot of just those two ganging up on her.
