Which do you like better & why?

I've been a member of Sam's before, but I've been a Costo member for longer & currently am now. Costco always has new products coming out.

Costco. I think they have a better selection of products. I like their deli and site-made products.

I don't go to either, though I've been once or twice with friends who are members...mostly for big party occasions. I'm not that kind of shopper, but some seem to love these stores.

We don't have Costco in my area, but Sam's Club has the cheapest prices around here for milk, produce, and gasoline-- three things I purchase every week or two. The savings on those items makes the yearly membership worthwhile. I don't buy much else in bulk there.

I've been a member of both, but prefer Costco.

We bought all of our laminate flooring there, dog food, dog beds, some produce, dairy, and meat...

If I can use coupons and get things cheaper somewhere else, then I do. But I do love my membership!

We don't have a Costco but I love Sam's. Since I have two houses to stock, it really cuts down on the number of shopping trips I have to make.

Sam's Club - closer, very similar products, and much better parking.

I have never heard of Sam's Club. I do like Cost Co. It is one of the few companies like that which is actually listed as supportive to labor. I think it was listed by labor council groups.

I'm not sure if we have Sam's Club here in Canada, but I do go to Costco every couple of weeks. I'm very predictable in what I buy--milk, granola bars, Greek yogurt (this is why I go--it's about half of the grocery store price), broccoli, mushrooms, cheese.

i like costco also. I have a standard list of things that I like to buy there. Sting beans, romaine lettuce hearts, apples, lobster dip, paper towels, cheese sticks, milk, chicken breast, roasted chicken..

I struggle with having to pay just to be allowed in the store. I tried to go into our local Costco once just to see what they have, and I was not permitted in.

I have been with friends who are members since then and haven't seen anything worth getting a membership for.

    I love costco.

We go there once a week just to try free samples

My dad will usually get some fruit for his breakfast.

Sometimes we'll pick up sausages (My mom loves to have chorizo handy, costco sells 3 lbs for $13)

Other times we'll pick up 40 lb cubes of cat litter

Every so often, they give samples & sell those potstickers by the manufacturing brand, Green Chopsticks. I really like their chicken potstickers. (They also come in pork.) Costso calls thm a road show. I'm trying tp find out the schedule of when they come to Costo.

I've never been to Sam's Club. Hubby has a card through his mom so we don't pay. I like to go to Costco for the gas, the produce, and for good deals on products such as quinoa, sun dried tomatoes, and coconut oil. Also the toilet paper. :D

I used to have a Sam's near me, but it went out of business. I honestly haven't been to one since (about 10 years ago). I am a frequent customer and Costco and have not had any complaints!

I like the frozen salmon at Costco and like the store better. I like both of them though.

Sam's Club is a part of the Walmart Co. and it shares some of the same labor problems as its parent company. Costco has a great track record for how it pays and treats its employees, so that factors into our decision as a family on where to shop.

Plus they have terrific rotisserie chickens!!

We go to Sam's... When we were deciding they gave us a visitors pass at the Sam's guest counter.

Another fam member thought about getting Costco so we could use each other's to go.

I was thinking of joining Sams but one is 45 minutes away and one is across a bridge that I hate. We have another store similar to Sam's and Costco that is closer. We got a "free 60 day pass" but we have not used it yet.

Sam's Club is owned by the same parent company as Wal-Mart. I haven't looked into their business practices, but I try to give that company as little of my money as possible.

Right now, Costco has these wonderfully wrapped, good-sized Ghirardelli chocolate (plastic) metallic gift buckets in a pretty blue or red for only $14.69. They make wonderful gifts. I got one for each of my two mentors at work.

I like Costco. We don't have Sam's Club, but we do have Wal*Mart (which is their sister store). I go to Wal*Mart to purchase things I can't buy at Costco.

To be honest, though, my favorite store is Target!

I love Costco and Target. I go to Target probably at least twice a month. It's definitely my go-to store.

I love Target too & I live across the street from the nicer of the two in my area. There's another location several minutes away. I like just going just to go for no reason, but that's dangerous for me! I plan on just browsing or getting just a couple of things & I end up spending $50.
