Copy Limit-- What's Yours?

    50 copies per month.

    That's why I have my own laser printer at school and at home.

    One year I we had a copy crisis and had our numbers drastically slashed. I had to buy my own paper and still had limits on the copier.

    I took to having the students write down every.little.thing on their own paper. They would draw diagrams that I'd project up on the board, instead of having them on a piece of copied paper. It was crazy but I needed them to have that information.

    The upside was that parents found out really quickly what was going on in their kids' classes and put a stop to it.

    As far as copies are concerned, we don't limit our teachers at my site.

    Laminating film, however, is quite expensive. We only allow teachers to laminate on Tuesdays/Thursdays.
