I don't have all the details yet, but a couple of master naturalists are putting together a canoe trip down the Peace River along with fossil hunting, workshops at night, lots of curriculum goodies. It will be some time after school is out. I'll update the info when it's available. Anybody think they might be interested?
Here is the link to the brochure for the fossil-hunting trip down the Peace River. It is led by a master naturalist who is awesome. I know her personally and have worked with her in the past. This group has a wealth of knowledge and experience working with kids and adults on science projects and trips - and they are lots of fun. http://fossiledu.com/fieldtrips/registration/
Sounds like a blast to me. Spending time on a river (any river) in a canoe is wonderful. Canoeing is almost as much fun as jeeping. Hope you have fun........
thanks Thanks for sharing. It is a bit expensive, but I may consider it. Love fossils and am not too far from Arcadia. Not sure I could do the canoe for that long!!
