It's not like I didn't know it was coming. And I have a job lined up.

But it really hurt, after all the bullying and aggression, the passive aggressive bs this year, being screamed at, trapped behind my desk to be screamed at, told I'm less intelligent than a 23 year old and need to be supervised by said 23 year old...etc.....I was ready to leave.

But I'm sad and angry, mostly because that evil woman won......how can one woman have that much power?

So the lesson here is to be the woman with all the power. If you can do that and be nice, the world is your oyster! Glad you have the job in hand - it does help take a little of the sting out of the situation.

    Be well.

Everything happens for a reason. You dodged a bullet and are getting out of (what sounds like) a toxic work environment.

I'm happy that you have another job lined up!

One word: KARMA. Her actions will catch up to her (hopefully sooner rather than later).

Yesterday she hosted a breakfast in our shared office, and all the teachers there were blocking my desk. I tried to go put my stuff down and they were all ticked and rude to me. NO one spoke to me.

Then she put a print out of the final test scores from my students with the fact I missed to goal of 80% of kids hitting their goals on my desk.....I missed by 1% on one test.

Then today after I got the news, it took three minutes for the custodian to come to carry out my boxes.....

Lets ignore that EVERY classroom teacher I worked with wanted me back and said I was the best SPED they had worked with, and they all requested me back into their rooms.

Oh and that my last observations were all proficient.

Even the SPED director is afraid of the SPED coordinator.....that is stupid

I am glad that you have a new job. I would say just look ahead and be ready to enjoy your new school and students.

I've had one much like this, OP. In my case, her personal crusade against me led me to quit my job before I even had another one lined up--and this was in 2008 when the economy was in the toilet. It worked out for me, though, and it looks like it will work out for you as well.

Today I discovered they have already cut off access to my Google work account, I did forward to myself the important emails, well minus one....but hadn't been able to save all my docs.

It's been three days!!!!! That's if you count the weekend, and they cut my pay!!!!! I'm still employed till August 15!!!!!

I don't even know how to respond to that.....

Glad to be shod of that place

How can they cut your pay if you are still employed?

Time to wash your hands of this situation!!

That's what I was thinking, and they wouldn't let me have my termination letter...I'm going to have to go to the HR person at the charter to get it, they tried telling me since I have another job I have to resign....ummm...No

They did not pay me for being an after school title 1 tutor.....not since spring break......I'm short $400 at least......that's how they cut my pay

Good news, the other job found me a potential placement, all I have to do is impress the principal.....but that won't be a problem. I got really good at interviewing last summer.

wldwall, I also sent you a message. How were you able to get a new teaching job without showing them a copy of your final evaluation?? Would love to know!

Sorry these people are being jerks wldy. They sound as bad as the idiots from last year in Las Vegas who made you drive all that way!
saramarie, I got a job halfway through the year and nobody ever asked for any evaluations, let alone a final one. Did they tell you that you needed one?
