"Content Night?"

Hi there,
Does anyone have any experience with putting together a "Content Night?" It's basically a night where the students get to be the teachers and show their parents what they've been learning. I had one all set with our Insect unit, but then they made our "Core Knowledge Night" science themed, so I slid that one over. Some of my colleagues are doing things like "Family Math Night" or "Art and Poetry Night" etc. I'm trying to come up with something I could do ASAP to replace my original idea. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
 
We just had one. The kids did graphs showing the grades they got on all assignments this quarter, we had work that we saved over the quarter, the kids wrote letters to their parents outlining things they did well and things they want to improve, and we had kid/parent surveys that they filled out together.
