We use soft back books (CPM math books). I was thinking about having my students cover them with contact paper. What do you guys think? Any suggestions of other ways to keep them for getting torn up?

    Thanks
    Mel

There is clear, sticky-backed book covering material usually sold in a box of 3 or 4 small rolls. It is removable. It works very well on workbooks or texts. I also used it to stick name tags on lockers.

I always suggest to my students that they use contact paper because our workbooks hold up better when it is used.

A roll of contact paper is on my supply list. I send home all the folders and workbooks we will be using and have them covered as part of their homework. It really does make a difference in keeping the books together and looking nice.

Thanks for all the responses. Contact paper is going on my supply list for our books.
