The Obama statement thread mentioned conspiracies. I know about the moon landing, the third man, and have heard certain ones on 9/11. I don't want this turn into a heated debate but I'm curious as to what other conspiracies people have heard.
Recently, Obama's birth issue. Fluoride in the water supply. Adolph Hitler, alive and well, in Argentina. Paul McCartney was dead when Sgt. Pepper's was released. The forced change to digital television and subliminal messages and/or spying by the government. In high school, my son's teachers were out to "get him".
Who's the third man? I googled and the search came up with a movie and Columbine conspiracy theories. I love reading about conspiracy theories. Not that I believe the crazy ones, but there is so much going on "behind the scenes" of government that I'm sure would blow our minds.
I completely agree with that. Though, I would not be suprised if someone of the "crazy" ones were true.
UFO's are really secret spaceships by the airforce/army or whatever. People in charge are really reptillian aliens from outer space (or something like that) I really like hearing bout conspiracy theories too. I liked National Treasure just for that reason.
Who killed the electric car? The FDA is not passing sound dietary guidelines because of the revenue that the health industry produces every year. I guess issues with natural gas, global warming, and antibiotics could be conspiracy theories, but I believe them.
I had not heard that one!! I had heard something recently about Paul McCartney. They say that there was a third person on the Grassy Knoll at the Kennedy assassination. I guess him and all the others have having a blast!! :lol: Keep them coming!
When the wrote the first grade Open Court Reading program, they were behind schedule with a deadline approaching and had still not written a year's worth of lessons. So they just stretched out what they had and pretended that 7 months of curriculum was a years worth of material.
I had an uncle (who has since passed on) who SWORE that the Philadelphia experiment actually happened. He was in the Navy around that time and said everyone in the service knew what happened and there was a major gov. cover-up.

No I have not seen the comparisons between the Lincoln and Kennedy killings. Interesting. This thread reminds me of That 70s Show and the character Hyde. He also thought that the government was keeping things from us... Especially a car that could run on water! :lol:
As I understand it, the Philadelphia experiment happened back in 1943 when the Navy was experimenting with 'cloaking' devices for their ships. The ship (the Eldridge???) was in the Philadelphia shipyard and supposedly disappeared and reappeared in NYC harbor, then reappeared in Philadelphia. But not all of the crew returned, some had mental conditions afterward and some were imbedded in the ship's iron-decks, bulkheads, etc. There was some huge coverup. Sounds hinkey to me, but my uncle swore it was true. There is a movie with the same name about this incident.

I think anything having to do with food or drugs is being done to make money and NOT in our best interest. And I believe that the natural gas companies know full well what they are doing to our water.
The government assassinated Sonny Bono because he was very close to figuring out/revealing "Project Blue Beam" in which gigantic holographic images of Jesus will be project across the nation, either telling us to do things or explaining why the problematic and/or enlightened persons have vanished.
Yep. A lot of that takes place really closely to me. Scary. If we are considering Al Gore/Global Warming a conspiracy theory, then I will admit to that one, too. The Holocaust one makes me mad. I still have students who come in and say their parents/grandparents told them it didn't happen. Ug.
About Al Gore, I meant more on the side of people believing he is full of hooey, not that global warming doesn't exist.

There's one about certain global shadow corporations buying up water rights all over the world. Saw something about it in a Nat'l Geo documentary.
I think the sailors got sick but embedded in the metal, No way. Did it disappear? Maybe to the perspective of the observers, but not physically and I say no to the appearing in NY harbor. Remember In every Conspiracy Theory there has to be some truth to make it more believable.
