    Hi:

I'm considering getting an MA in Early Childhood Special Education, and I'm having a hard time gathering information about it. Anything would be appreciated!

First of all, the criteria I am looking for is a job that allows me to be home with my daughter in the summer. Can you find a 9-mo job in this field? If so, where?

Also, what is the salary range? I live in San Francisco, so a higher salary is necessary although that isn't something that is particularly important to me personally.

I do love children, and I think I'd particularly like to work with little ones. I've been exposed to children with special needs all my life as my sister has worked in the field for many, many years.

Any information you could provide would be wonderful. I've done a lot of research on the internet and I've had trouble getting solid info.

    Thank you!
    Karyn in San Francisco
