    Hello,

I have a multiple subject credential and a supplemental authorization in computer science. Do I have to get a single subject math cred. to get a subject matter authorization in CS? Thank you for your time.

That might depend upon the state you are in and the licensing procedures (not to mention the state's current interpretation of HQT).

I'm willing to wager that the OP is in California.

buddy1, please take this question up with the credential analysts at your county office of education (or, if you're in Orange County, your department of education).

Computer science isn't a distinct credentialing area. The credential area under which it comes most directly might - MIGHT - be career and technical education, or CTE, though business education is also possible. In other words, it's complicated, so your best bet is to seek professional advice.
