I'm getting stulled this Friday on "Comprehension strategies," and I wanted to know what comprehension strategies do you all use? Also, what would be an OCR (Open Court) story that would be a good story to use with my kids?

    Thanks!

Really, any strategy can be introduced at K. The ones that are commonly known are monitoring, visualizing, questioning, inferring, making connections, summarizing, synthesizing. You can choose almost any story to teach these strategies, some just are better suited than others.
