    Hi everybody!

My preschool is hosting a "booth" at a Community Fun Days event. We need to think of some fun things to do to for kids while also promoting our program. There isn't a lot of budget for this event, so we want to focus on some kind of activity, rather than a giveaway.

Any ideas? Children will be at the park with their parents and will be stopping by booths all day. We would focus on ages 3-5, but might have a few younger and older.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Music & movement w/scarves, beanbags, or songs like The Freeze or Hokey Pokey where anyone can join at anytime.

Read stories with props (puppets, etc).

A quick and easy art project.

    A playdough table.

I love everyone's ideas! What first came to me were 2 things; I don't know about the first one though...it involves waterguns ...would there be an issue using waterguns w/colored water (use food coloring) to shoot at various targets (circles, squares, etc...) painted onto a shower curtain.

And my second thought is a cupcake walk...you could have several winners each round.

Ahh TeacherSandra, you read my mind! After I posted, I was thinking about spray bottles filled with colored water to spray at a target on a sheet.

I love the other ideas as well - especially the play with music and scarves. Thanks all!
