Communities Postcard Exchange

    In NJ our Social Studies theme is communities. I thought I'd put a different twist on the postcard exchange by focusing on what your community is like. ( rural, urban, suburban). We would share what we do or have in our own communities.
    I am going to be organizing this so we are ready to roll in September with , hopefully, the postcards mailed by December. Let me know what you think.
    PM me with your name, grade, and school address. I will also need your email address so I can send you information and keep you updated.

    I have a few questions though (sorry!):

    Who writes the post cards?
    Is it one a week, or how often?

    Hi Applecore-
    It is only done 1 time! Depending on the age of the kids - I have my kids do research on NJ. Then, we brainstorm interesting facts. I choose the way I want it to read, type it up, put it on a label , stick it on the postcard and done!
