Has anyone seen any online (or in person) trainings on Common Core lately? I'm surprised I haven't seen anything in NJ or online.

Are you kidding? According to our illustrious governor, teachers are bloodsucking ne'er-do-wells who teach because they can't do anything else, and love the short hours and long vacations. It would make too much sense to provide trainings!

What kind of trainings do people want for Common Core?

I would like to see a lot more "released" test questions that show what students are expected to do.

I did monthly Common Core training for a year, then every other month meetings for the next two years. Each school sent someone for reading and someone for math. We then returned to the school and brought back the information we learned. I'm in Kentucky.

Our district is providing them on PD days and additional days as needed.
