Well I got non renewed as a computer teacher (i was offered to be a history/computer teacher because they wanted me to stay, but I declined) because of the shortfall in the budget. Anyway, I have been applying and I landed a position at Columbia University in the IT (Computers) deptartment. True in some ways it steps away from education, but hey..a job is a job.

Well one of the perks is that you can go to their school for free. I am currently taking my masters in educational technology at a regular college and I have only 6 classes left (each class is 4 credits, so its just 8 classes with one 2 credit class). Thing is, Columbia offers the same program, but my credits would not be able to transfer. So would you give up your masters you are currently on to go take the same thing at columbia university?

Another thing they do offer is a certificate too, which is 5 classes.
