Anyone ever been to CU for Readers' Workshop classes with Lucy? I am going in a couple weeks :D and wanted to know if there is anything I need to know/do???

Besides the classes, what must I see/do in NYC if time allows (I have never been)? We have on our list: Central Park, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Is, Ground Zero...I know there's more, but I don't have the list.

    Thanks!!!

    That's awesome!

My husband works in NYC so I go in very frequently, about once a week. Some things I'd recommend: see Times Square, do a tour on one of the double decker buses, explore the various neighbors (Greenwich Village is my favorite!) Also the things you listed- that should take up you're time!

My school was a TC Reading and Writing Project school for years!! I was able to take advantage of many professional development opportunities with Lucy and other literacy 'gurus'...Have a great time...
    More ideas:
    ChinaTown
    Empire State Building
    Circle Line Tour
    Times Square
