I have been blog hopping and I see tons of people who have cute colorful baskets for books in their classrooms. Where do you get these? I've been to all the dollar stores and they are all flimsy and don't seem to be worth the cost?

I use dollar store baskets and they have held up fine.

http://www.reallygoodstuff.com/ - this company has lots of baskets and bins in great colours. These may be what you are seeing.

The dollar store baskets are not that bad, also check out big lots! Still pretty cheap and a little better quality. I bought baskets from those two stores, plain white, and spray painted them so they matched my decor! They look so pretty now :)

For this upcoming year, I bought white dishpans from Dollar Tree and sprayed paint them to the color scheme I'm using. I tried them out in the bookshelves I'll be using and two of them fit perfectly on the width of the shelf. They are sturdy and I'm loving how they came out.

I got mine years ago from www.reallygoodstuff.com and they are still in use in my garage. They've held up wonderfully.

I have the Really Good Stuff ones. I've only broken one. A kid stepped on it. I've spray painted them, too. Saves from buying new ones when I change colors.

Great idea. I love the open spaces for your hands to grab onto.
