Yeah! I got approval from py prinipal to paint my room over the summer. I have two partial walls to paint-the front wall which also has a long whiteboard (in place of chalkboard) and an adjacent wall. The adjacent wall has cupboards and heating vents from floor to waist level which wont be touched (unless I have a little left over). The other walls are brown brick and wood paneling. The lockers are a medium blue color. I have been given the choices of a very pale yellow, rose tinted white, and something called dogwood blossom which is a very pale pink/peach color. I like them all but am leaning toward the yellow. I am asking for your opinions as to which would look best and not subliminally rile the kids or distract them. Does anyone know of any color research related to the classroom (I'm sure it's out there somewhere. I just can't find it.)?

are there any other class rooms with these colors? I myself would pick the peachy one.

I'd go the peachy one or the yellow. Any color but an orange. We had orange at another center and it was horrendous!

I think yellow would be the best. I love yellows. The peach sounds nice too.

Let me know what you decide.

If it helps at all, my son's bedroom is yellow and he loves it.
