This may be old news already.... but, have you seen the individual 16? - 20? oz. bottles of Coke that says "Share a Coke with... ". I couldn't find my name or anyone in my family, but there were names like Stephanie, Shannon, Zach and many more.

I probably would have bought any with the names of my family members. Just what I need... more clutter!

Only my daughter's name is on the some of the ones for sale... Oh well. And I thought we all had pretty common names... :/

I might have to make a virtual one online. There's no way I will ever see my name on one at the store! :)

    What a cunning marketing ploy!

My name is not common in the USA. If I were in Denmark I bet I could find my name on a Coke bottle ;)

Same here! My real name is fairly common, but my brother's isn't. If I found his, I would snatch it up and mail it to him.

He deserves it because as kids whenever they had little keychains, mugs, books, etc with pre-printed names, we could always find mine, but never his, so Mom would get him one with his middle name.

And I'd be all  and he'd be like  and I'd  even harder

My name was almost never on that stuff, but the good thing was that any time my mom would see my name on something, she'd get all excited and buy it for me, lol. I was surprised to see that my name is on a Coke bottle, and it's even spelled the way I spell it! I would totally buy it if I saw it!

My name isn't on it, but some of my kids are. 3 out of the 4. My husbands name isn't on the list either. I didn't think my name was too uncommon and his isn't for sure.

It's in my city now. Our newspaper says that you just type the name in and a few seconds later, out pops a customized can.

That's really genius marketing right there because so many people will do it to see their name on the can! :)

If you don't believe that there is something after death, feel free to skip my post...

I didn't know that Coke was running this promotion in my town...hadn't even heard about it.

My husband asked me to grab him a Coke while I was out shopping. I opened the cooler and grabbed a bottle. All the bottles were facing outward, so no indication that there were names on the bottles.

A while later my husband said to come look at the bottle. He turned it around and the name on the bottle was the name of our son who had passed about eight years ago.

Another in the long history of our beloved child contacting us :hugs:

    Swansong, that it beautiful!

There's a list where you can see if your name was mass-produced. Mine wasn't - - it's never on anything!
