Anyone have any really strange, random coincidences in their lives?

I was born on Abe Lincoln's birthday date, and my mom was born on the date he died-Feb. 12 and April 15.

There's a professor I work with and get along really well with. When I first met him I thought, man he's so much like my sister it's scary. It was like they were personality twins. It turns out, they share a birthday. Even stranger is he though the same thing of me and one of his brothers...and WE share a birthday.

Both of my children were supposed to be girls. 2 ultrasounds each showed girls. Seriously. I found out one about a month before he was born. I found out the other the moment he was born!!!

Ok, my name is "Kelly". My first college roomate was named, "Kellie". We were both dating boys named Kevin. Both Kevins lived in the same dorm. Both Kevins were short with short brown hair. Both Kevins lived on the same floor.

We both broke up with the Kevins and I started dating Fred. She started dating Rick. Rick and I share a birthday and Fred and Kellie shared a birthday.

Guess what Rick's full name was??? FREDrick!!!:woot::woot:

My first husband's name was Larry.

My second husband's name is Larry (officially - Lawrence).

My dad's first son (by his 1st wife) was Lawrence.
(That child died as a toddler due to complications of strep throat.)

My mom, my sister, and I all have birthdays on the 10th (different months). She got married 4 years ago, and her new husband's birthday is the same day as my sister. That's actually how they met-she was talking about getting a birthday card in the mail, he heard her and asked if it was for him (joking).

I was dating two men for a while. They both had very short haircuts, custody of their three children-two girls and one boy, called their ex-wives "the hag", lived next door to their moms, and were born on the 6th six months apart. It's a good thing they didn't look alike!

I forgot about the weird numbers. My late dh and I married on 8-8, my son was stillborn on 1-1, had a miscarriage on 11-11, and dh died on 3-3. In 3 years, 3 months, and 3 days, I lost 3 very important people to me. I bet a numerologist or whatever those people are called would have a field day with this.

My grandfather died on my then SIL's bd 1-04, then my aunt died on my then MIL's bd 10-23, and 6 wks later my mom died on my SIL's son's bd 12-12; this happened all in the same year

my mom had a good friend who shared her bd 12-10, but they were born different yrs. Then they had their babies on the same day, same year 12-18-65 and were roommates in the hospital.

my mom's bd was 12-10, in 1987 my DD was born 12-11, then in 1996 my nephew was born 12-9

My husband and my SIL (my brother's wife, not my husband's sister) have the same birthday.

My due date for both my children was Feb 15th, but they have birthdays 9 days apart due to my son coming a few days early and my daughter 9 days late. Jem, my son is also born on Abe Lincoln's birthday which he thinks is very cool.

I have an aunt and an uncle who were born on the same day 8 years apart (both are my mother's siblings).
My cousin and I (we are very much alike) both dated guys with the same birthday. Our grandmother ended up dying on their birthday. It was strange. I bet it is every year, actually (my cousin married her guy and I got rid of mine :) ).

I was born on my mom's birthday.

It's 4 days after the shared birthday of my sister and our brother in law.

I was born on the 16th
Julia was born on the 17th
Brian was born on the 18th
Peter was born on the 19th (all different months.)

Kira is odd man out, with a birthday on the 4th.

    Sad Post

Last year our elementary dept had a string of family deaths. When my sister committed suicide, another member's sister did the same during the exact same week. At the end of the year, one teacher had a mom and dad who died 2 days apart. One was sick and I think the other was probably just heart sick.

This year, we have 5 animals that have had to be put to sleep. It is a small dept. Part of me feels we haven't seen the end of this trend.

Yes, we need a better trend.

My sister, dad, mom and other sister, were respectively born in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb. I was born in May, but when I had my own family we completed the cycle because my son is in March, husband in April, me in May and daughter in June...so from Nov to June there is a birthday each month for someone in my immediate family.

Being a lefty is not really that common, but in my family, my mother sister daughter and son are all left-handed.

My husband's godfather shares his name, I have the same name as his godmother...and it's not even a common name.

We just figured out that my son's girlfriend's father was our manager when we worked at McDonald's in the 80's (my husband, me and my brother in law and mother in law all worked there at the same time). This was way before any of us were married or even thought of kids--who knew that our kids would end up dating each other.

My two youngest children were concieved on the same day (though born a month apart due to varying levels of prematurity). I'm not sure if this is a coincedence, as the day in question is my ex-husband's birthday :D

My sister and I, and my 2 cousins (also sisters) have similar birthdays. Me and the older cousin are exactly 2 years apart. And my sister and the other cousin were born a day apart. My mom called my aunt and said she had a new daughter, but my aunt said the exact same thing! Funny!

    Oh- I forgot!
My step brother's birthday is August 6th (born in 1990).
He has twin half-brothers who were born on August 6, 2000. They were born on his 10th birthday. His mom only has the 3 kids, so she only gave birth on 8/6. 3 boys, same birthday, different fathers...

    Another thing:

When my mom was growing up, she wanted to join the band and play the oboe. She couldn't do it because the school oboe was already taken and her parents were dirt poor and couldn't buy or rent one for her. Three of my mom's kids play the oboe. I was good enough to get on the waiting list for Juilliard, and wound up at another conservatory for a year before injuries forced me to quit, one sister has a performance degree and another sister is in her sophmore year in a performance degree...all oboe players.

When I was growing up, I really wanted to learn to ice skate. I was so involved in music; however, that I didn't have the time and my parents didn't really want to spend the money. I have a son who's a very talented competitive figure skater.

This isn't a number coincidence but several years ago I was on vacation quite far from my home. I walked out of a restaurant and saw a wallet sitting on a bench. I picked it up and it belonged to a really good friend of mine. It fell out of her purse while she was sitting there. I had no idea she was also vacationing in the area at the same time I was. How weird it that, that I was the one to find it out of the 100's of people around! I called her cell and she got it back quickly.

We like years that end in '8s. My great Grandmother was born in 1898, my grandparents were married in 1948, my parents were born in 1958, so when I graduated from high school in 1998, it was also my parent's 40th birthday, my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary, and would have been my great grandmothers 100th birthday.

Oh, and when my grandfather passed away, my grandmother's sister also passed away on the same day. A week later her sister-in-law died, and a month later her brother died. (My poor grandma... she lost her husband and 2 siblings and a sibling in law in a month!)
