I know extra curricula activities have been mentioned on here before. Do any of you coach?

I work at an inner city middle school, but then I also coach high school girls basketball close to where I live. I have coached ever since I started teaching 3 years ago.

I've never coached, though I've thought about it. Now that I'm out of the classroom, there's no opportunity to coach, unless I wanted to coach my daughter's teams.

I used to coach speech. The best times of my career, and the worst times.

I "coach" drama club. It's considered a sport in my district because we compete in a One-Act play festival. :p Pretty ridiculous when I have to take my actors through concussion training, but hey, coaches get paid, sponsors don't.:D

Never coached a sport, but I was advisor--sometimes all at the same time--to yearbook, classes of '08, '12, and '16, and history club. I am actually still "unofficially" advising the class of '16, even though as an administrator I'm technically not supposed to.

I don't coach, but I'm in charge of 5 different after-school groups. I would rather not be doing that many, but I was basically not given a choice (and I will need a letter of recommendation soon). I don't get paid for any of them.

I've coached baseball, assisted in football and basketball for a number of years.

I stopped coaching about 5 years ago.
