After having to move to a new classroom, I am finally done getting situated! Yesterday was an amazing day- My P and VP were so giddy and it turns out that 6th grade had the best improvements in test scores from last year. Then P wanted to see my room and was all compliments! I need more days like that one!

    Here's some pics.
    :haha:

Yikes! Here's the new public link.

I can't get in- I don't have a password of my own- Is there another way you can link the photos?

I really wanted to see your room too! Can you set it up so we don't need a password?

Very nice. I liked like to curl up next to that big window and read in your library.

Thanks! I have moved rooms, so I got rid of stuff I hadn't been using. We have almost no storage! I have had to scrounge around and be VERY nice to our custodian and I was able to acquire a second file cabinet. I used to have crates all over the floor, so I feel much more streamlined.

I look forward to the kids coming back and having their work on the walls- it gives the room so much more life.

Beautiful room! Definitely does not look babyish at all. The green ties it all in really nicely.

I would say that my theme is my favorite colors- purple and green.

Looks very nice. I love the wire for the cubbies...my question is does it work? I would love to have those in my room and pray they don't fall.

My mentor teacher had them, and if they are assembled properly they will stay together (some swear words may have been involved to get those pieces together right).

I found that the one area that I needed to work on was classroom safety... My kids had so much stuff on the floor! I even resorted to giving one packrat a box to keep by her desk- On the last day of school she took home two! yes two! trash bags of her things.
They were $20 for four cubes from Walmart (and they're purple!)

I've been known to let a few choice words slip out (some quite loudly) when assembling mine. Once they are together, however, they are very strong and durable.

    Rocket Math

I love your Rocket Math BB. What goes on there once the kids move up levels?

They work through 1 min Multiplication, then 1 min division. Once they are done, they get a star up on the wall showing they are a "math master".
